Love by the Donut Peach tree by Jesse Silver 11"x 14" Framed. Gouache on Arches paper, 2023

Artwork will be shipped out or can be picked up at the store on September 8, 2023. We currently do not offer international shipping but we can get an estimate for you if you'd like to purchase out of the United States. Jesse is a self-taught (still self-teaching!) artist and has been painting and drawing as long as she can remember. Jesse has had many jobs and lived in many cities but her love for using paint to make up worlds and working out what's in her mind is the one static thing in her life.

This particular series called, "Glimmer" comes after a dull few years. These paintings are the result of a feeling in an attempt to capture the simple moments that were bringing her (and the people around her) bursts of joy and peace.
Jesse found out later that the term for this is, "glimmer feeling" which is the opposite of a "trigger". She hopes it brings that same feeling to those who view it; lightness, humor and a quiet fuzzy mood which feels more important than ever as we all find ways to ground ourselves in these shifts happening in our culture and planet these days.

Jesse is a Prop Stylist/Set Designer by trade and lives in the Bay with her husband and 6-year old daughter, who are her creative partners and bring much glimmer to her life.
