Last Chance Textile Pink Cotton Bandana
This new bandana is an homage to Last Chance's favorite historical quilt pattern: Delectable Mountains. Hand-drawn and lettered details reinterpret the charming “wonk” of this slashed rectangle quilt.
We love the name “Delectable Mountains” as much as the transfixing pattern. Last Chance began designing this bandana in the spring when she moved to Oregon, just days before the pandemic shutdown. In the book Pilgrim’s Progress the delectable mountains represent both hope and fear to the traveler. They are a sign that the destination is close, yet hold dangerous falls should a pilgrim stray from the path. Last Chance could see the Cascade Mountain peaks from here neighborhood bubble and yearned to explore them. Instead she stayed home, stayed vigilant, and tried to stay hopeful.
