Kiyomi Koide - Oakland, California
Kiyomi was born and raised in Japan, introduced to clay in Mexico and became obsessed and dedicated to the craft in the States. Her work is a direct result of all these places. Aesthetically elevated, simply utilitarian and functionally performative. Kiyomi's ultimate purpose is to "enrich the user's everyday life and make them happy."
