Artist Bio: Perro y Arena is a ceramics project and design studio by Tijuana-born artist Socrates Marko Medina. His work explores the spiritual connection between humans and the fauna of the Californias. The ceramic pieces reflect the textures and tones of the region’s desert landscapes, while his figurines transport us to a mystical world where we can dance with coyotes and hares under the moonlight.
